Scientists have confirmed that changing lifestyles a little can help to prevent cancer . In turn, this move could help lower the number of people making health insurance claims.
According to a healthcare charity, researchers have found that thousands of cancer cases could have been avoided by simply living a more healthy life . An officer from the organisations science information division said that to reduce the risk of getting cancer, people should quit smoking, maintain an ideal weight and avoid sun beds.
These comments come as research revealed that 80,000 cases of cancer in the UK could have easily been avoided by following a balanced diet .
