Moto GP Bikes Fire-up the Track at Brands Hatch
The Brands Hatch GP circuit will resound with the ear shattering sound of those amazing MotoGP bikes on Saturday and Sunday for the eighth round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship that will take place on August the 7th and the 8th.
At the event, British Superbike fans will be able witness the astounding MotoGP four-stoke bikes as they zoom around the 2.3 mile track hitting speeds in excess of 200mph. Riding a Rizla Suzuki MotoGP GSV-R800 at the event will be Rizla Suzuki rider Alvaro Bautista, the former 125cc World Champion will be making some high speed demonstration laps around the track on both Saturday and Sunday of the British Superbike Championship as Suzuki celebrates five decades of International racing.
In the MotoGP realm, Bautista is one of the hottest items going, in this his rookie year Bautista has already achieved the best result of the season, after he made an impressive fifth place finish in the Grand Prix event held at Catalunya in Spain this past weekend.
Bautista commented that it would be interesting for him to go to Brands Hatch since he had never been there before and the fact that Brands Hatch was such a famous track. He expressed that it would be good to learn another circuit and to visit a place that was totally new to him. Bautista also stated that he was looking forward to doing the demo laps and to showing British fans that had never lain eyes on a MotoGP motorcycle what it is all about.
