Allianz revamps Commercial Select offering

Allianz Commercial has revamped its Commercial Select product, which is designed to offer a wide range of covers across a variety of risks.

According to the insurer, the scope of the product has been enhanced to give clients wider protection and greater peace of mind, with amendments being made to the following policy sections: Property Damage, Business Interruption, Public and Products Liability, Employers’ Liability and Money.

Customers will also benefit from the addition of a number of new covers, which have been included free of charge.

The insurer’s head of property and casualty, Steve Coates, says: “Significant changes have been made to ensure our flagship product remains a market-leading proposition.”

He adds: “We have added significantly to our basic wording and reduced the amount of clauses in order to streamline the product to suit the modern broker and their clients.”

Earlier this week Allianz was named General Insurer of the Year at the 2010 British Insurance Awards, emerging as winner from a shortlist that included Fortis, Hiscos and QBE.
